RECOM launches its AC/DC RACM90-K series which is cost sensitive.
RECOM has added a 90W output version to its popular RACM series of AC/DC sources for cost sensitive applications. Specifications have not been compromised, however, as the parts feature a wide 85-264VAC input range, tightly regulated individual outputs including 12V, 15V, 24V, 36V, and 48VDC, and an operating temperature range of -40°C to +90°C with derating. Safety certifications include 2MOPP/250VAC according to IEC/EN/ANSI/AAMI ES 60601-1, "B" and "BF" with dual input fuse for medical applications, as well as reinforced insulation standards for industrial use , test and measurement, ITE and domestic, all up to 4000m altitude. The parts are rated Limited Power Source (LPS) and are suitable for installation in Overvoltage Class 3 and OVC Category III Overvoltage environments. In addition, they comply with a wide margin with the emission limits of the EN 55032/35 class B standard. Efficiency is high and is maintained even under light loads, meeting ErP requirements, and no-load consumption is less than 200mW at 230VAC.
The RACM90-K series is available as an open card in the industry standard 2″ x 4″ format or with an optional metal enclosure.
