For three days, from April 9 to 11, it will present its value proposition at stand D516
RS, trademark of RS Group plc, participates this year for the first time in Advanced Factories in its commitment to Industry 4.0. The annual event brings together in Barcelona, between April 9 and 11, the leading companies in industrial innovation with professionals in the sector who are looking for the best solutions in automation, robotics, digital manufacturing and artificial intelligence.
At the D516 stand, located in Hall 2 of Fira de Barcelona – Gran Vía, the company will present its value proposals around three large areas of solutions:
- RS Industry – A cloud-based equipment monitoring solution that works in real time, which makes it easy to obtain information on the causes of production losses and component failures of said equipment. The system can process and integrate data from very different sources, from variable speed drives, PLC, SCADA systems, vibration and oil status sensors, to electricity and water meters. Using a data-agnostic approach, RS develops a new perspective on the performance of production processes and their supporting systems, such as water treatment, steam boilers and electrical supplies.
- Better World Products – When a product obtains the Better World distinction on the RS website, it means that its manufacturer has improved sustainability in at least one stage of its life cycle, and that this improvement has been verified by a sustainability certification or efficiency standard energy with international recognition.
The products are classified into three categories:
- More sustainable manufacturing: products made with more sustainable materials or processes.
- Sustainable solution: products that help manage the business in a more sustainable way.
- Support for circularity: products that have a longer useful life or that can be reused, repaired or recycled.
- RS Solutions - RS allows companies to simplify their purchasing and inventory management processes with a variety of proposals that will help them be more efficient in their daily lives.
Among the purchasing solutions that will be shown at Advanced Factories, stand out RS eProcurement, which covers the entire P2P (Procure to Pay) purchasing cycle with the creation of static catalogs and PunchOut, as well as the automation of orders and invoice generation with eOrdering and eInvoicing.; and RS PurchasingManager™, a 100% online solution that saves time and money by eliminating manual or lengthy approval processes, facilitating availability checks and restricting non-compliant purchases.
Regarding inventory management solutions, they will stand out RS ScanStock®, which reduces the time and cost of replenishing low-value, high-turnover industrial supplies; and RS VendStock®, a vending machine proposal ideal for consumables and tools that require stricter controls, proximity to the point of use, as well as 24-hour availability and traceability.
