The agreement with TraceParts gives designers access to 3D models of Harwin's connectors, EMC shielding for boards and PCB hardware. Models are supplied in all current file formats for engineers to integrate directly into their CAD system and design, saving valuable time and streamlining the development process.
TrustedParts provides engineers and purchasing managers with access to full pricing and availability data for genuine products supplied only by authorized distributors/franchisees for electronic component sourcing. More than 6000 Harwin products appear in the languages and currencies of each country for the main markets around the world.
Peter Schneid, Harwin's Vice President of Marketing, commented on the agreements with TraceParts and TrustedParts: “Harwin's digital transformation is evolving rapidly. While physical connector samples are important, 3D connector models are increasingly relevant as 'digital samples'. Easy access to real-time total prices and availability data from authorized suppliers are just as important.”
