Once again, the Cellnex Telecom company has trusted Albalá Ingenieros for its facilities in Torrespaña.
The Spanish engineering company has supplied its TL3000 series automatic switches for redundancy in radio transmission, in order to obtain automatic switching in the event of a lack of audio in FM transmitters.
These are the ACT3000C01 switches specially designed to manage the redundancy in the stereo audio circuits that carry the signals of the radio programs that are going to be transmitted.
The ACT3000C01 has advanced audio signal fault detection capabilities, such as overload, silence, anti-phase signals, etc. In addition, it allows processing functions to be carried out on audio channels such as delay equalization and frequency responses to minimize the apparent differences between signals that have traveled different paths before switching.
Additionally, the ACT3000C01 performs measurements on audio signals. These measurements include phase correlation, true peak value, and loudness (loudness) according to the ITU-R BS.1770-2 recommendation.
In addition to the ACT3000C01 switches, Albalá has included other TL3000 series products, advanced Ethernet/EIA-TIA-232-F/EIA-TIA-485-A communications controllers, and supervision.
This telecommunication infrastructure equipment will be used for the daily operation of the radio services offered from Torrespaña.
