EDISON'S EDIPOWER HM SERIES

Edison Opto has successfully introduced a complete product line to its Edipower II range. This is the HM series, which includes models ranging from 5W to 60W for different applications. Recently, Edison Opto has extended the high power version up to 40W (HM40). Using a proprietary phosphor, the HM40 improves thermal stability and reduces the phenomenon of light loss. In addition, Edipower II HM series is based on the MCPCB which acts as a mirror featuring excellent reflectivity (up to 98%), so that the luminous efficacy of the components can be increased by 10% to 30% and waste energy. can be significantly reduced.

At 1080mA, HM40 can go up to 5190lm in cool white (equivalent to 130lm/W). For PAR lamp applications, Edison Opto has released models in 7W/9W/13W with proprietary materials. With a Tc = 25 ° C , the efficacy of the 3000K type can reach 115 lm/W.

All these 7W / 9W / 13W models are suitable for PAR20, PAR30, PAR38 and spotlights. The typical CRI of HM series is always greater than 80. And all products in this series meet the 3-step criteria of Macadam Ellipse, ERP EU and Energy Star (R9 > 0).

Edipower HM ® II series can provide different operating powers and different colors that serve as optical engine and can be used in general lighting and special lighting in applications, such as MR16 and projectors. In addition, high CRI options allow customers to optimize the effect in various fields such as interior architecture.

The HM Edipower II series products provide us, on average, with more than 70% maintenance of the luminous flux (L70) after 50.000 hours of operation.

These performances are based on constant current operation with case temperature maintained at or below 85°C and are based on a combination of package test data, semiconductor chips, package degradation mechanisms, and observed performance. of products installed in the field using Edison technology.

Edison Opto warrants that the product, in normal operation, will be free from defects in material and workmanship for a period of five (5) years from the date of original purchase.

We complete the range with a series of reflectors that are suitable for any product in the Edipower ® II series, although they have been designed to be used with controllers from any supplier.

For its part, Mechatronix, leader in LED dissipation solutions, offers a wide range of heatsinks specifically developed and thermally validated for Edison LED modules and COBs.

All of these passive heat sinks and active coolers come standard with the necessary mounting holes, additional hardware for cable routing, and the use of Tyco and BJB LED holders.

All of these MechaTronix designs use the latest SolidWorks software and have the benefit of a dedicated thermal lab exclusively for in-depth thermal validation of LED fixtures and components.
