New ModuLED Giga heatsinks for LED high bays

After the success of the versions of the ModuLED Mega heat sink for lighting hoods, Mechatronix launches its new series for hoods and industrial lighting, named ModuLED Giga.

With up to 100 watts of heat dissipation, 150 watts of electrical power (about 18.000 lm calculated at 120 lm/W), this is probably the most adaptable heatsink ever launched on the light hood market.

Not only its thermal performance, but also its mechanical flexibility when mounting with different types of LEDs, drivers and optics make it a unique product on the market.

The Giga is a 152mm diameter, 150mm high LED heatsink with an optimum thermal performance of 0,46°C/W. In these compact dimensions, 100W of dissipated power, equivalent to 150W of electrical energy, would mean a temperature rise of 40°C over ambient temperature.

The modular design of the Giga model allows direct mounting of a wide variety of LED modules directly on the heatsink, without the need for additional drilling and connections. The most widely used COBs for this type of hood of approximately 10.000 lumens, such as Edison's high-power Edipower HM III, can be fixed directly.

In addition to the ease of mounting and using the LED modules, the drivers and optics also allow us great flexibility when assembling components to our Giga heatsink. Using the Mean Well HBG-160 HBG-160 we incorporate the driver in the upper part and next to the heatsink we have a piece all in the same color; We can also include a box (driver box) to the external driver and choose the model that interests us the most (HLG, NPF,...).
