icotek split cable entry and cable gland systems allow a fast, safe and economical way to feed various pre-assembled cables (for example with multi-pin power plugs, circular M-connectors, sensorics, Profibus, D-Sub…) to through panels, connection boxes or cabinets in the machines themselves without voiding the guarantee of the cables and avoiding any type of error as they are not handled.
icotek split cable glands also seal entry points with protection rating up to IP66 / IP68 / UL type 4X and strain relief to EN 62444. Cables without assembled connectors, as well as pneumatic and hydraulic hoses, can be routed to through membrane-based multi-wire entry plates that provide sealing ratings up to IP66 / IP68 and UL Type 4X. Many of our cable entry components are suitable for standard 24, 16 and 10 pin industrial connector cutouts (eg from Harting…) or fit round metric cutouts from M16 to M85.
