Individual cable gland with pre-punched sealing rings. Quick, easy and effortless routing of individual cables

We want to present the new option for conducting individual cables KEL-SCDP from ICOTEK. These individual cable glands, very similar to the cone-shaped inserts, are used in applications with fewer mechanical requirements than the latter, but more sensitive in price.
With the new Icotek KEL-SCDP cable gland membrane, cables, tubes and/or hoses can be passed while maintaining an IP65 degree of protection and a wide range of diameters between 5 and 36mm. The cutting of the surface is simple and comfortable, since the rings are pre-cut. Depending on the cable or tube to be passed, layers of the membrane are removed without the need for any cutter or tool. To do this, it is only necessary to make a hole in the contour of the ring to be removed, the rest comes out easily. The remaining internal shape is always circular, thus guaranteeing a perfect degree of tightness. Another notable advantage is its ease of assembly.
KEL-SCDP is used on rounded sheet metal edges with thicknesses of 1,5 to 4mm and supports temperatures between -40ºC and 100ºC permanently. The range is completed with 4 sizes: metric 25, 32, 40 and 50 and with certified versions for railway installations that comply with the EN 45545-2 fire and smoke standard. Along with this range, the KT-SC cable insert also stands out, with an application similar to the membrane, which is integrated into split frames for large KT inserts. Supports electrical cables without connector and pneumatic tubes between 5 and 28mm.
