Evaluation of the technology for detection and response to intrusions and attack attempts in communication networks

This article analyzes the convenience of this technology today, evaluates which are the main operation models, what characteristics and limitations it presents and what may be the requirements that should be present in a complete system of detection and response to intrusions and attempts to attacks for computer networks and telecommunications.
