Analysis of the security offered by Bluetooth mobile communication technology

This article evaluates the security issues provided by Bluetooth wireless communication technology. This standard allows devices to establish both "ad-hoc" wireless communications and connectivity in a non-conscious way, in this case the devices can exchange data with those that are in the vicinity with almost no control and interaction by the user. In this environment of wireless electronic communications, the need to introduce robust security functions that cover existing vulnerabilities is evident.
