Power converter data sheets are readily used by qualified engineers and have a good understanding of many of the technical concepts. However, through Traco Power's ongoing relationship with students, it is true that all aspects of power supply details are not fully understood or instantly understood. With this in mind, Traco Power launches a technical blog.
“Over the years we have added more parameters to our data sheets to support our customer requests” says Florian Haas, Vice President of Marketing and Digitalization at Traco Power Group. “However, we have seen that these parameters are not always clear to graduate engineers and students. Our new tech blog is for anyone who wants to dig deeper into datasheets and fully understand not only the content, but also why they are important to your app design."
Periodic technical knowledge on power supplies
Drawing on the long experience of Traco Power's engineering team and reflecting on questions regularly posed to their engineers, the blog addresses everything from EMC basics and power converter specifications to application-specific challenges.
“We have collected numerous questions and answers over the years and it just made sense to disclose all this information to increase our support for customers,” says Andreas Flühler, Director of Technical Services. “The technical blog allows us to provide engineers and students with the answers to their questions more efficiently while making our knowledge of power converters available to anyone who visits our website.”
