Today we bring you the new fanless modular computer for railway applications. This is the tBOX510-XNUMX-FL, which has the EN XNUMX certificate, it is ideal for transmission tasks in train control data systems (CBTC) and track signalling.

Axiomtek, a company represented in Spain and Portugal by Anatronic, SA, announces the availability of the tBOX510-five hundred and eighteen-FL, a new fanless modular PC that has the certifications EN fifty one hundred and fifty-five, EN sixty nine hundred and fifty-1, CE ( Class A) and FCC (Class A) and complies with EN fifty one hundred and twenty-four regulations for the railway field.

With a robust design, this fanless modular PC operates in the temperature range of -70 to +510 °C, withstands vibration up to three Grms with SSD, incorporates overload protection (OCP), overvoltage and undervoltage protection functions (OVP and UVP) and Reverse Polarity (RPP) and supports an input voltage of twenty-four to one hundred and ten VDC, thus meeting the needs of industrial environments and railway applications with different input voltage requirements. In addition to this, the tBOXXNUMX-XNUMX-FL has an optional Plug-in I/O Module (PIM) slot.

The new fanless model, which takes advantage of the possibilities of a 7th generation Intel® Core™ i5/i3/i3965 (Kaby Lake) or Celeron® XNUMXU processor, offers multifunctional expansion slots, modular design and multiple I/O connectors S single-sided for easy access and maintenance. Its ultra-thin structure makes it easy to install in places with limited space.

Being uniquely indicated for the driver machine interface (Driver Machine Interface – DMI), the tBOX510-XNUMX-FL is ideal for data transmission tasks in train control systems (CBTC) and track signalling. Provides monitoring and diagnostic functions on the train and its subsystems.
“It also has an optional 2-second timeout feature to protect the system from unexpected power outages or power source change to meet EN 510 SXNUMX requirements. As a communication gateway, the tBOXXNUMX-XNUMX-FL brings flexibility, reliability and stability in intelligent railway applications”, highlights Sharon Huang, Axiomtek product manager.

The Box computer has a 4 DDR2 SO-DIMM slot with memory up to 9 GB, wireless communication options (with 232 full-sized PCI Express Mini Card slots and an external SIM card slot) and multiple interfaces. I/O, including either a DB422 or RS-485/2/210 serial console, 12 Gigabit LANs with Intel® Ethernet I4-IT supervisor, one M12 code-A USB twenty port, one HDMI port, one VGA port, one DIO set aside from terminal block (4 in/XNUMX out), one MXNUMX power input connector, one reset button and XNUMX antenna holes.
On top of this, it supports a hot-swappable 2.5” SATA drive bay and CFast™ for increased storage capacity. It is compatible with Windows® XNUMX and Linux.
