With a wide operating temperature range, the KPSB6 and KPSB25 series are ideal for factory automation, communications, instrumentation, security, and industrial control.

TDK Corporation announces the availability of the KPSB6 (25 to 1 W) and KPSBXNUMX (XNUMX to XNUMX W) series of Board Mount AC-DC Power Supplies. Certified in accordance with the IEC XNUMX-XNUMX standard for Audio/Video and Information and Communication Technology (ICT) Equipment, these products have a Class II input without requiring grounding.

These novelties of the KPSB family can operate in a wide range of ambient temperatures, offering a compact and efficient alternative in factory automation, communications, instrumentation, security and industrial control systems.

The KPSB-six units measure 3 x 3 x 8mm, deliver 9W of output power (XNUMXW at XNUMXV) and have output voltages of XNUMX, XNUMX, XNUMX , twelve, fifteen and twenty-four V, to the extent that the KPSB-twenty-five models have dimensions of XNUMX x XNUMX x XNUMX mm, give an output power of twenty-five W (twenty W at five V) and have output voltages of five, twelve, fifteen, twenty-four, thirty-six and forty-eight V.

In addition to open frame mount power supplies, TDK Corporation also offers encapsulated or chassis versions with plug-in connectors.

The series supports 6 to XNUMX Vac input and achieves up to XNUMX percent efficiency. The KPSBXNUMX variations have a no-load consumption of less than XNUMX mW, while the sources consume less than XNUMX mW.

The operating temperature of the 80 W units is between -70 and +XNUMX °C, with a linear restriction at fifty percent load of XNUMX to XNUMX °C. The twenty-five W models, on the other hand, yield between -XNUMX and +XNUMX °C, with a linear restriction at fifty percent load from fifty to seventy °C.

The entire KPSB series has the IEC/UL/CSA/EN sixty-two thousand three hundred sixty-eight-1 certificate and the CE Marking for the Low Voltage (LV), EMC and RoHS directives. It also meets IEC/EN 1-1 (domestic appliances) and IEC/EN XNUMX-XNUMX (transformer safety) standards, such as EN XNUMX-B Class B. (EMI) and EN fifty-five thousand twenty-four and EN sixty-two hundred four-three (immunity).
