Fuzzy Control Using a Xilinx FPGA for DC/DC Boost Converters

This article presents the digital realization of a fuzzy control for a DC/DC step-up converter, using a Xilinx FPGA of the XC4000E series and parallel arithmetic structures, to obtain a higher processing speed. Fuzzy control has been tested to control a Boost type DC-DC converter.
