Development of a Probably Secure Traditional Rabin-Style Public-Key Cryptographic System
By J. Areitio
In this article, the synthesis of an asymmetric public-key crypto-system is carried out following a classic Rabin-style approach. It turns out to be a system whose encryption process is more efficient than that of the most widely used RSA cryptographic system today, even though the decryption process is of similar efficiency compared to RSA. Likewise, the CRT (Chinese Remainder Theorem), EEA (Extended Euclid Algorithm) and Hill algebra techniques widely used in applied Cryptography are described.
