Keysight Technologies Presents Design and Test Solutions for 5G, Internet of Things and Connected Vehicles at Mobile World Congress 2017

Keysight showcased how its industry-leading solutions help designers bring their ideas to life, from simulation to prototyping, manufacturing and optimization.

On the 28th, at the Mobile World Congress in Barcelona, the presentation by Keysight managers and experts of ideas on communication technologies, including new challenges in the automotive industry through autonomous driving, 5G communication technologies, etc. The latest and innovative software-based solutions that help mobile operators, device manufacturers, IoT and 802.11ax protocols will be on display. Keysight is an active participant in numerous influential mobile communications standards bodies and leading global 5G initiatives. In addition, Keysight collaborates with industry leading companies and universities in the development of the next generation of mobile communications systems. Among other innovations, Keysight presented innovations such as Keysight's unique Narrowband IoT (NB-IoT) test solutions enable designers to accelerate the deployment of mobile long-range IoT technology, offering the first test equipment solution for mobile devices in the world with a certified NBIoT device.

Keysight's solutions enable users to optimize certain critical performance attributes in their IoT designs, including power consumption, RF performance, interoperability, and the world's first examples of GCF NB-IoT conformance testing. Keysight's Anite Virtual Drive Test (VDT) suite of tools is a unique lab-based solution that enables the automotive industry to cost-effectively verify wireless connectivity in connected vehicles. Keysight's VDT toolset is an automated, realistic, and accurate “field to lab” test solution for testing mobile devices and network equipment. These tools replicate driving test conditions using field data to create test examples that are replicated in a repeatable and controllable lab environment.
