The new R&S RTE from Rohde & Schwarz is available with bandwidths from 200 MHz up to 1 GHz. Thanks to its acquisition speed of more than one million waveforms per second, users can find signal failures quickly. The oscilloscope's digital triggering system, with no trigger jitter, provides highly accurate results. Single-core A/D converter with more than seven effective bits (ENOB) virtually eliminates signal distortion. With a sampling rate of 5 Gsamples per second and a maximum memory capacity of 50 Msamples per channel, the R&S RTE can record the long signal sequences required when analyzing the data content of serial protocols such as I2C and DOG.
Users carrying out complex tasks will benefit from the high measurement speed of the R&S RTE. Mask tests, for example, quickly generate the results. The FFT function detects sporadic signals, making the R&S RTE the ideal tool for EMI fault detection during product development.
