KELLER Piezo-resistive pressure transmitters for OEM applications, Series 4LD…9LD with I2C interface

The 4LD... 9LD Series from the Swiss manufacturer Keller AG, published in our electronics magazine, constitutes the new family of miniature OEM pressure transmitters that combines a manometric pressure sensor that explains what is a manometer and I2C signal conditioning, in a compact format that is easy to integrate into any system.

This design allows for extremely low power consumption and makes it suitable for mobile or battery-powered applications.

The line of miniature pressure transmitters "LD", takes advantage of the extensive experience of the Swiss firm Keller AG in the stability of the piezoresistive pressure sensors that it has been manufacturing for more than 25 years, as. as in the process of digital signals with innovative designs. Both the pressure sensor and the signal conditioner are built into a miniature stainless steel capsule. Aisi-316L (also available in Hastelloy C276), hermetically sealed and the same size as the previous pressure sensor. The available ranges go from 0-1 bar to 0-1000bar. The name given to this new technology is CIO, “chip in oil=chip in oil”.

CIO does not only mean that the pressure transmitter is. integrated within a hermetically sealed, oil-filled enclosure, this transmitter can be integrated into an OEM product, achieving significant cost savings as well. as a performance that until now was not possible with conventional technologies.
