The new generation NGA100 series is a basic power supply
Simple to use that has been thoroughly developed for general use, it is economical and also incorporates numerous functions. It is based on a linear topology for stable, low-rumble output in a robust package with quiet operation. The NGA100 series provides accurate readings and a low current range with multiple standby modes to perform the demanding measurements required by Internet of Things (IoT) devices. Advanced protection features ensure the safety of connected devices and the power supply. Channel fusing extends the voltage and current ranges, allowing far-flung outputs to be connected in series for the purpose of achieving higher voltages or in parallel to achieve higher output currents.
Featuring multiple external control interfaces, the power supplies include hidden load detection to improve measurement and configuration accuracy, and are easily integrated into automated tests. The NGA100 series also allows customers to work seamlessly and productively with modern test workstations. This flexibility makes them ideal instruments for a variety of benchtop applications, such as arbitrary waveform generation and data logging of voltage and current measurements over time, with simple data output.
The NGA100 series consists of four models: the NGA101 (one 35 VDC output and forty W rating), the NGA102 (two 35 VDC outputs and eighty W power rating), the NGA141 (one output and power rating of up to 100 V at forty W maximum), and the NGA142 (two 100 VDC outputs and eighty W power rating). All units with outputs incorporate channel merging.

• 3-inch front display: The color-coded display ensures that the user can view all operating conditions, such as the status of any of the protection functions, among others. Simple to read voltage and current values and integrated statistics on the screen to educate the minimum and maximum values of power, voltage and current. Integrated meter readouts reduce the need for external multimeters and make setup easy.
• Connectivity – The NGA series includes a USB interface for viewing and saving data. Ethernet with integrated web server that facilitates control of the instruments through a browser and wireless LAN (WLAN) that automatically connects the instrument to a network. Digital trigger I/Os make it possible for input triggers to automatically control the functions of the main instrument.
• Rack-mountable – Rack-mountable kit and rear output connectors ensure simple integration of the NGA100 series of power supplies into test systems. Each rackmount frame can accommodate up to two NGA100 drives.
