The PIC32CM JH01 Curiosity Pro Evaluation Kit is ideal for evaluating and prototyping the PIC32CM JH01 5V ARM® Cortex®-M0+ based microcontroller.
The PIC32CM JH microcontroller is the first microcontroller on the market to be based on the Arm Cortex-M0+ architecture with AUTOSAR, MBIST (Memory-Built-In Self-Test) and Secure Boot.
The PIC32CM JH supports AUTOSAR, an open software architecture that provides vendors with the ability to downgrade hardware while maintaining the original application code, making it easy to migrate between different designs. AUTOSAR has been designed to streamline the development process and reduce overall costs. Using AUTOSAR, Microchip offers ASIL B Microcontroller Abstraction Layers (MCALs) for functional safety applications that provide the lowest level hardware interface to the microcontroller.
It also incorporates the PTC controller (peripheral touch controller) with Driven Shield+, as well as analog circuits such as ADC, DAC and analog comparators.
The kit has an Arduino Uno connector and extension strips to enhance development. It includes an embedded debugger that eliminates the need for external tools for programming or debugging. The kit also has a security element (TA100) that increases the security functionality of the microcontroller.
These devices are supported by the MPLAB® development ecosystem, consisting of the MPLAB X integrated development environment, the MPLAB XC32 compiler, and our free MPLAB Harmony embedded software development environment.
The PIC32CM JH01 Curiosity Pro Evaluation Kit contains Microchip's Embedded Debugger (EDBG) for on-board debugging. The EDBG is a USB device that incorporates these three interfaces:
