SDR: Software-defined radios require advanced testing

Today and more than ever before, radio frequency (RF) technologies are being developed for adaptation – adaptation to a highly populated RF spectrum – to varying network requirements and changing device specifications. Nowhere is this more evident than in the case of SDRs (Software Defined Radios) which allow software to dynamically control communication parameters such as the frequency band used, the type of modulation, the types of data and frequency hopping schemes.
