OMEGA's CN245 DIN rail mount controller for temperature and process provides two LED displays that indicate the process value and target value at the same time. Control methods include ON/OFF, PID, auto-tune, and manual setting.
The controller includes a 3-point ramp/soak control function, alarms, RS485 communications, and heater loop break alarm.
Along with this, the unit can also be used as a signal converter thanks to the universal input (up to 18 different selectable signals) and the galvanically isolated analog output that can be programmed to retransmit the process signal or the desired value.
The optional SW kit CN-SW-HW-KIT includes a cable and the module to quickly configure the units. The configurations can be downloaded to each controller without the need to power it thanks to the battery incorporated in the module. In this way the configuration and commissioning of the new units is carried out easily.
