Four years ago, the paradigm in the mobile device market changed. In June 2007, Apple puts the first iPhone on sale. Until then, the innovation efforts of Nokia, RIM, Motorola and other manufacturers had been focused in the complete opposite direction: smaller devices, better prices and better battery life. The first Iphone was larger, more expensive and was not capable of staying on for more than 24 hours without recharging. However, its sales success was overwhelming and it became the first threat to the dominant manufacturers in the market, mainly Nokia.
