Ensuring proper RF performance can be a difficult task for the radio designer, whether it is a mobile WiMAX base station or a subscriber station. Radio design encompasses many aspects. The 802.16e standard requires a series of measurements to assess its performance. In this article we will focus on downlink and uplink demodulation measurements. We will explain how to perform modulation quality measurements on downlink and uplink transmission signals.
