With superior shielding, the 5G25 series models offer a compact and robust design that supports signals up to 25 GHz and reduces interference.

Avnet Abacus and a business unit of AVNET, Inc., announces the availability of the series 5G25 of radio frequency (RF) connectors Molex.

Thanks to the improvements in its shielding, these connectors flex-to-board high-frequency signals have been designed to withstand up to 25 GHz and, at the same time, help reduce electromagnetic interference (EMI).

This superior shielding not only provides complete shielding, but also protects against possible deformation due to RF contact and shock caused by an accidental fall.

The 5G25 series models allow the integration of RF and non-RF signals, thus eliminating the need for a greater number of connectors. They guarantee excellent signal integrity in a compact format that meets the requirements of communication devices in projects 5G millimeter wave (mmWave).

The new connectors have an exclusive design of the RF terminal contact: the result is high-speed transmission, space savings and mechanical robustness.

Additionally, the wide alignment tolerance of 0,30 mm (pitch or reach) facilitates proper alignment and engagement.
