Measurements in high speed inverters
By Kelvin Hagebeuk .YOKOGAWA Test & Measurement Division
Current inverters, used in sectors such as transport (both rail and automotive) or renewable energy (wind, photovoltaic...) increasingly incorporate higher speed and voltage electronics. R&D laboratories focused on this type of product are therefore looking for better performance in their instrumentation equipment, while reducing their development costs. The most demanded features are: isolation between high-voltage channels, high-speed measurements, as well as the possibility of measuring a large number of signals for longer periods of time.
