UWP 3.0: Universal web platform for energy efficiency

Building automation applications, energy efficiency management, parking guidance and all their combinations
Carlo Gavazzi presents the evolution of its UWP 3.0 platform, a gateway to monitor and control installations where energy management, building automation and parking guidance functions are required.
The system monitors and controls, through its management functions, the connected devices. It includes a web server with a powerful and intuitive user interface that displays customized dashboards and interacts with local devices and remote systems. The server allows data to be exchanged locally or remotely via standard internet protocols. UWP 3.0 can manage a complete lighting control system based on DALI actuators and can function as a BACnet/IP gateway.
Its full compatibility with our energy meters and power analyzers, with Building Automation sensors and actuators, and with the full range of parking guidance components, allows a powerful set of monitoring, automation and communication functions to be incorporated. in a single system, while easily integrating into an existing one. Modularity and scalability are the two key points, as well as its flexibility.
The UWP 3.0 platform incorporates, in a module of only 2 DIN modules, all the functions of VMU-C EM, SB2WEB and SBP2WEB, with many improvements in the user interface of the web application and in the configuration software. UWP3.0 enables efficient control of energy with active control to reduce consumption costs, collects all kinds of field data and sends it to third party software/devices, or installations in car parks.

Main technical characteristics:

  • Monitoring of energy control systems to check improvements and the status of energy efficiency
  • Registration, visualization and transmission of information (events and history)
  • Multiprotocol: HTTP, HTTPS, FTP, FTPS, SFTP, Modbus TCP/IP, DP (Data Push), SMTP, NTP, Azure IoT Hub, Modbus TCP/RTU Port, BACnet IP, and Rest API
  • Definition of logic functions, reaction to anomalies and control of actuators
  • Configuring and adjusting building automation functions
  • Configuration and adjustment of lighting control and DALI functions
  • Configuration and adjustment of parking guidance systems
