More than 10 successful years in China: Rutronik opens its sixth office in China with a new branch in Xiamen and its third Asian warehouse in Shanghai, in addition to existing ones in Hong Kong and Singapore.
Rutronik Elektronische Bauelemente GmbH continues to expand its presence in China with a new warehouse in Shanghai and a new office in Xiamen. This is part of Rutronik's regionalization process to expand its presence around the world, such as Asia and the United States, among other places. The general objective is to supply and advise the strategically relevant markets of the electronics industry in the most comfortable and direct way possible.
Markets in the electronics sector are developing more and more dynamically, while supply chains are becoming more global. At the same time, it is essential not to lose sight of local markets with their specific requirements and needs in order to serve customers optimally. "Focusing on regionalization brings us closer to our local customers to offer them the best field application engineering and customer service capabilities," said Markus Krieg, Rutronik's Chief Marketing Officer (CMO). To further strengthen its logistics presence in China, Rutronik has recently opened a free warehouse in the Song Jiang district of Shanghai. “The Shanghai hub is an important part of our regionalization strategy, and has been put in place to improve responsiveness, optimize efficiency and benefit our customers in China. Importantly, the Shanghai facility offers the ability to pay in local currency, streamlining and simplifying operations and business for our domestic customers in China," said Michael Heinrich, Managing Director of Asia Rutronik. With the new warehouse in Shanghai and existing ones in Hong Kong and Singapore, Rutronik now has three key warehousing facilities in Asia to serve fast-growing industries such as automotive, healthcare and IoT.
The new Xiamen office is one of six Rutronik offices in China to provide technical and commercial support, field application engineering activities, and customer-related services. Long-term collaborations with customers and suppliers have always been important to Rutronik. Especially in these difficult times when it comes to managing supply bottlenecks, presence on the ground and proximity to the customer is decisive for the identification and implementation of customized logistics solutions.
