Würth Elektronik has published the catalog "Electromechanical Components 2023" for download. This catalog consists of 65 pages with innovations in the fields of connection technology, as well as switches and pushbuttons. The manufacturer dedicates a separate chapter to the REDCUBE high-current contacts, which are particularly robust and resistant to vibrations thanks to the technology press fit. All products in the catalog are available from stock with no minimum order quantity. In addition, the possibility of receiving free samples is offered upon request.
The new catalog shows very clearly the different possibilities of connecting the printed circuit boards to each other or by means of cables. One of the outstanding products in the 2023 catalog are the M12 circular connectors with thread lock and IP67 or IP68 protection for data lines in industrial automation environments. There is also an interesting novelty in coaxial connectors: a new format, a new type N family according to the MIL-STD-348 standard, for applications where great robustness is required. Among the switches, a new family of toggle stands out with a current capacity of 1 A, a nominal voltage of 30 V and ESD compliance according to IEC 61000-4-2.
REDFIT CRIMP is a particularly stable connector with a capacity of 16 A and 400 V. The connection to the PCB uses Würth Elektronik's patented SKEDD technology. Allows connection to the PCB by hand and does not require another mating connector thanks to its locating pin.
