The Explorer 16/32 development board is a flexible and convenient development, demonstration, and test platform for Microchip's 24-bit PIC15 microcontrollers, dsPIC® DSCs, and 32-bit PIC32 microcontrollers. It comes with all the necessary hardware to start developing and debugging a fully embedded application. The card supports Processor Plug-In Modules (PIMs) designed for the Explorer 16 or Explorer 16/32 development board for easy device swapping.

In addition to the hardware functions provided by the card, the hardware can be expanded by PICtail™ Plus daughter cards and mikroBUS™ daughter cards. Together with the PKOB (PICkit™-On-Board) card and the integrated real-time debugger MPLAB ICD 4 allows to accelerate the evaluation and development of application prototypes.

Choose the PIM you want from its wide range based on microcontrollers or DSCs.
