Tria Technologies Introduces Tria™ C6C-RYZ8 COM Express Compact Type 6 Module, Based on AMD Ryzen Processor™ Embedded 8000 Series, during Embedded World 2025.
This newest member of Tria's COM Express card family is based on AMD's Zen 4 CPU architecture and provides a substantial performance improvement over previous generations of AMD processor-based cards.

The C6C-RYZ8 COM Express Compact Type 6 is designed for high-performance applications such as edge AI solutions, medical imaging, professional audio/video/light equipment, gaming platforms, and many other demanding applications.
Using the powerful AMD Ryzen™ Embedded 8000 Series processor and an AI accelerator (XDNA Neural Processing Unit), the module integrates up to eight cores, 16 execution threads, and up to six RDNA3 work group processors (WGPs) for complex graphics processing and multimedia data conversion.
Supporting multiple displays and taking up less space with the Type 6 interface, the COM Express Compact form factor can accommodate up to 128GB of on-board memory – local NVMe and versatile I/O configurations.
Denzler added: “This new development provides our customers with many more options among x86-compatible products and benefits from the fact that COM Express Compact Type 6 is a widely used standard in countless applications. Designers developing system solutions based on this standard need not look any further when it comes to incorporating the most advanced processing modules.”
Demonstrations of the COM Express Compact Type 6 and many others will be on display at Tria Booth 225 in Hall 3A during Embedded World from March 11-13, 2025 in Nuremberg, Germany.
