The new VI Brick® AC Front End module offers a practical and innovative solution for today's most demanding power applications in terms of space and efficiency. This module offers a complete AC/DC solution for PCB mounting in a robust package. The source design is greatly simplified because the module integrates input filter, rectification and protection against transients. It also incorporates active PFC, can operate in a wide input voltage range (85V-264Vac) and offers a regulated 48V output with a power of up to 330W. The high efficiency of the module and its brick format simplify the management and thermal design of the system.
