Agilent Technologies Inc. has announced that its next generation of wide-bandwidth oscilloscopes will feature a revolutionary level of functionality with the release of an input chipset that uses indium phosphide (InP)-based technology. This new chipset will allow the company to produce oscilloscopes with true analog bandwidths greater than 16 GHz starting in the first half of 2010.
