New WIKA isolation valve for the process industry

isolation valve

New WIKA isolation valve for the process industry WIKA has introduced a new isolation and shut-off valve on the market designed to meet the requirements of the process industry, especially for applications with natural gas and aggressive media. The PBV-FS model is used for the isolation of processes or pressure taps. The stop valve is equipped with a floating ball and a standard or reduced orifice. The compact design integrates one or two stop valves and a vent valve. This allows an arrangement of ball valves and needle valves to be used in a single or double block and bleed configuration. The valve design allows for compact installation and minimizes leakage. For fugitive emission requirements, the PBV-FS complies with ISO 15848-1 and has been tested for
fire safety according to API 607 standard.

Main applications of the PBV-FS model:

  • Oil and gas industries, chemical and petrochemical industries, power plants, water and wastewater, shipbuilding
  • Control of the flow of natural gas, oil and chemicals in a process
  • Connection of piping systems and equipment
  • Interface between process and measuring equipment

WIKA also offers its customers pre-assembled valve assemblies with WIKA measuring instruments. These types of hook up assemblies are an out of the box turnkey solution that saves time and money. This assembly simplifies commissioning for the customer thanks to a single order from a single supplier and guarantees process reliability, since these assemblies are systematically checked with leak tests.
