How can we use digital controllers to more seamlessly integrate lighting into daily life? How to regulate ambient light to create particular and special spaces? In accordance with the IEC 62386-209 (DT8) standards defined by the DALI Association, digital controllers can turn lighting into an ambient component and create personalized atmospheres. In this line, we present from OLFER Electronics the LED controller manufactured by MEAN WELL: the LCM-40TW series.

LCM-40TW LED driver is in line with DT8 applications. This driver provides two outputs for color temperature regulation. It is configurable by dip-switch as 1xDT6, 2xDT6 or 1xDT8 and is dimmable by DALI or push button (minimum dimming level of 0,2%). The output current can be set between 500-1050mA (20-50Vdc).

LCM-40TW is mainly used for Tunable white applications. You can adjust the ambient color temperature through the two output channels. The maximum consumption of the two outputs does not exceed 40W. Other applications can also be adjusted via the Dip switch, which can be used as a dimming LED driver for single or dual outputs (DT6). In addition, DLC-02 DALI and DLC-02KN (KNX) controllers can also be updated with DT8 dimming function by visiting MEAN WELL official website to download and update the updated system firmware.
