Market-leading wireless protocol decryption solution augments best-in-class Keysight 5G platform
Keysight Technologies has announced that it has completed the acquisition of Sanjole, a leader in solutions for protocol decoding and interoperability of 4G, 5G and other wireless technologies.

As 5G technology evolves and 5G private network deployments increase, customers will benefit from an integrated solution that enables them to troubleshoot complex communications systems. Sanjole offers hardware and software technology that enables customers across the entire communications ecosystem, from chipset manufacturers and network operators to network equipment manufacturers, to identify and fix problems between devices and the network under test, ensuring the quality of the communication.

The acquisition of Sanjole is in line with Keysight's objective to provide a portfolio of complete and innovative 5G solutions at the forefront of advancing communications technologies. Sanjole's hardware and software offerings are complementary to Keysight's 5G portfolio and will enhance these solutions for its modem, chipset and RAN customers. Together, Keysight and Sanjole will provide validated interoperability tests against communications standards, enable faster debugging, and speed time-to-deployment for their customers.
“As the 5G ecosystem and deployments grow, Keysight remains dedicated to helping its customers with end-to-end design and test solutions. We are pleased to announce the addition of Sanjole to our portfolio, providing unique capabilities for solving complex interoperability challenges,” said Satish Dhanasekaran, Keysight chief operating officer. “The talented Sanjole team will be a valuable addition to Keysight, advancing our mission to accelerate innovation to make the world safer and more connected.”

Sanjole provides troubleshooting capabilities from within the wireless network through over-the-air (OTA) analytics tools that provide visibility into events spanning multiple protocol layers. Sanjole's work with the 3GPP community, combined with his extensive experience in interoperability testing, provides Sanjole with a deep understanding of the complex technical issues specific to the wireless community.
“At Sanjole, enabling our customers' innovations and delivering great products has been the key to our success in 4G and 5G,” said Joe Fala, Sanjole's president and co-founder. “We see the same passion and energy in customer support at Keysight, and we are delighted to join forces to provide cutting-edge solutions for our customers.”
