Salicru teams will speed up the railway corridor from Cairo to Alexandria

The railway corridor from Cairo to Alexandria, one of the most picturesque and historic routes in Egypt, will also have Uninterruptible Power Supplies (UPS) from Salicru.

Thanks to the trust placed once again by the company Thales España, awarded a large signaling, telecommunications and traffic control project promoted by the Egyptian government, Salicru has supplied 21 parallel UPS systems SLC CUBE3+ between 20 and 80 kVAs.

Its main purpose will be to protect the signaling systems of the line and convoys, point change systems, etc., which will result in an increase in the speed of the so-called 'turbot trains' that circulate through said corridor.

The supplied SLC CUBE3+ UPSs stand out for their high construction specifications and their great adaptability, providing a reliable and quality power supply that achieves significant energy and economic savings.

This new project is incorporated into Salicru's portfolio in the railway sector which, among others, includes different sections of the Spanish high-speed line (Madrid-Lleida-Barcelona, ​​La Sacra-Toledo, Córdoba-Málaga and Segovia-Valladolid) or the meters from Madrid and Bilbao.
