The new Farsens kits are now available. Easy to use and complete, you don't need anything else to start testing
Farsens has developed wireless sensor devices that can operate without batteries in the sensor nodes. These battery-free sensors are based on UHF RFID technology and are capable of monitoring and transmitting data, along with a 96-bit EPC unique identifier, to a commercial reader that complies with the EPC Gen2 communication standard.
Farsens has taken everything you need to effortlessly assemble your wireless and battery-free sensor system and turned it into a kit. Your “Full Battery Free Sensor” kit comes with your preferred battery free sensor plus a commercial UHF RFID reader, the antenna for the reader, power cords, and an Ethernet cable to connect to your computer.
The kit also includes a software program that allows you to view the data from the sensors on your computer. The tags in these kits are shipped in bare PCB format to allow potting by the user or integration into non-metallic materials. Farsens designs and manufactures fully passive RFID sensor solutions. Its proprietary UHF RFID chip allows Farsens to develop long-range solutions for asset tracking – via the unique identifier – and monitoring – via the sensor – without the need for batteries in the tag.
