Toshiba and Farnell have strengthened their partnership globally to bring new technologies to market and offer greater access to a select range of Toshiba's market-leading power semiconductors and other discrete devices.

Farnell has strengthened its worldwide alliance with Toshiba Electronics Europe GmbH (Toshiba), which represents a significant expansion of its product range and stock.

The Toshiba product range available at Farnell will reach 800 devices and increase to over 1000 products by 2023 in parallel with the introduction of new products from this year.

The new agreement recognizes the rapid changes among customers when selecting components for new and existing designs following the pandemic, as well as the shortage of semiconductors. Farnell has successfully distributed a small range of basic Toshiba products for many years. The enhanced portfolio will now focus on the market leading range of optocouplers, optical relays (MOSFETs), low and high voltage power MOSFETs, discrete IGBTs, small signal diodes and transistors, voltage regulators, logic and control solutions.
