DSC dsPIC33C ready for AUTOSAR and compliant with ISO 26262

Elevate your automotive applications by staying within the dsPIC33C DSC ecosystem

Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEMs) are experiencing a growing need for protection and functional safety according to AUTOSAR and ISO 26262 due to the growth of the electric and autonomous vehicle market. We are expanding our powerful portfolio of dsPIC33C DSCs with the new dsPIC33CK1024MP7xx family compliant with the new ISO 26262 standard and ready for AUTOSAR.

This new family of dsPIC33C DSCs with AEC-Q100 Grade 0 certification and 1 MB Flash enables applications to run AUTOSAR and ISO 26262 safety libraries and functional protection diagnostics, as well as achieve a high level of integration. Customers who have previously designed bare metal or non-AUTOSAR applications can now take a step forward by adopting AUTOSAR by remaining in the DSC dsPIC33C ecosystem. ISO 26262 compliant DSCs offer functional protection packages for developing protection-critical applications that meet ASIL B specifications. These DSCs, together with our TA100 CryptoAutomotive™ devices, enable robust security to be implemented. Our comprehensive automotive ecosystem for AUTOSAR-ready dsPIC33C DSCs includes:

  • Support for AUTOSAR base software, OS and MCAL drivers
  • ISO 26262 protection packages offering FMEDA reports, protection manual and diagnostic libraries
  • Libraries for Implementing Robust Security Using DSC dsPIC33C and TA100 CryptoAutomotive Devices
