DATA MODUL AG expands its product range with transparent TFT displays from Japan Display Inc. (JDI) in the sizes 12,3 and 20,8 inches. The innovative Rælclear displays offer an exceptionally high degree of transmission that allows almost distortion-free transparency and clear readability of content from both sides, comparable to that of normal window glass. These features open up new application possibilities, especially in the area of special applications.
The screens could be used as visual translation monitors in many public institutions, such as embassies and resident registration offices, to facilitate communication between staff and visitors who do not speak the language, for example, when processing applications. The selected language appears simultaneously on both sides of the screen, making the additional intervention of a translator unnecessary. The screens could also facilitate international communication between medical staff and patients in hospitals and offices and serve as a support solution for people with hearing disabilities.
