Award-winning: congatec's support to its clients through dramatic business challenges and technological changes
Congatec has received the Platinum Vendor Satisfaction Award for IoT & Embedded Hardware technology from VDC Research. The decisive factor that earned congatec the award is its extraordinary support for customers going through dramatic business challenges and technological change. The award is based on vendor satisfaction ratings of more than 700 edge, embedded and IoT solution providers sourcing commercial hardware platforms. The list includes original equipment manufacturers, system integrators, and engineering service companies.

Achieving platinum status is a solid foundation for congatec's future development, as customer loyalty is high: 79,2% will definitely or probably use the same provider. However, there is still huge customer potential to be acquired: More than 20% of all vendors sourcing commercial hardware platforms are unsure if they would like to switch vendors (16,7%) or will definitely or probably switch supplier (3,8%). Convincing those customers will be easier with such an excellent rating of the services, which simplify the use of embedded computing technology, in addition to the various hardware features.
VDC also ranks in its survey the most important technical criteria for selection of boards and modules. First are the quality and reliability of the boards, followed by high-performance flexible interconnect capability and processor type. The long availability of the products, as well as the software environments and libraries, are the next important criteria when purchasing boards and modules. Providers that cannot deliver excellent results in these categories as well will never achieve platinum status. In this sense, the award is also a distinction for product excellence, which is a particular strength of congatec as the world's leading supplier in this area.
