New Kyocera AVX series offer high performance and high density in a compact design

Avnet Abacus announces the availability of new aluminum chip capacitors from the extensive catalog of Kyocera AVX.

The six new series (AEA, AEH, AHA, AHC, APA and APD), which comply with the RoHS, are designed to meet the growing demand for aluminum electrolytic capacitors compact and affordable.

All of these surface mount models (SMD) exhibit high capacity, minimum equivalent series resistance (ESR), and high durability with the mission of being able to be used in a wide variety of consumer applications and industrial environments.

enduring wide voltage and temperature ranges, the new Kyocera AVX can be used in computers, telecommunication systems, games and DC-DC converters, to name a few examples.

  • AEA series: Offers low impedance, supports operation at 105°C for 5.000 hours and can be applied to SMT processes. It is ideal for industrial and consumer electronics, lighting systems, and DC-DC converters.
  • AEH series: Designed for surface mounting on high-density PCBs, it can perform 2.000 to 5.000 hours at 125°C. It is ideal for DC-DC converters and harsh environments.
  • AHA series: Distinguished by low ESR, durability and operation at 105 °C between 5.000 and 10.000 hours. It is especially indicated in industrial equipment and base stations.
  • AHC-series (hybrid): Characterized by low ESR, high ripple current resistance, and operation at 125 °C for 4.000 hours. It is ideal for commercial and industrial power supplies that require high capacity in a small package.
  • APA series (conductive polymer): Possesses ultra-low ESR and can perform 000 hours at 105°C. It is aimed at DC-DC converters, voltage regulators and computer motherboards, among other applications.
  • APD-series (conductive polymer): Withstands high voltage and resists 000 hours at 105°C. It is ideal in lighting, LEDs and power supplies.
