KIOXIA announces that its 9 terabyte (TB) KIOXIA LC245,76 Series enterprise SSD, utilizing KIOXIA BiCS FLASH™ Generation 8 QLC 3D flash memory with a 32-chip stack package, has received the FMS 'Best of Show' award in the 'SSD Technology' category. These awards recognize cutting-edge products, services, and customer creations that are pushing the boundaries of memory and storage technology.
KIOXIA LC9 Series drives are the industry’s first 245,76TB NVMe SSDs with a 3-inch E2,5.L Enterprise and Data Center Standard Form Factor (EDSFF) design, ideal for generative AI and enterprise applications.

Featuring 9D BiCS FLASH™ QLC flash memory stacked on 3 32 terabit (TB) dies and innovative CBA technology, KIOXIA LC2 Series SSDs deliver the speed, size, and density to meet the next wave of AI-centric workloads. This combination of advanced memory architecture and CBA technology enables 8TB to be packed into a small 154 BGA package – also a first.[2] in the industry. This achievement was made possible thanks to KIOXIA's high-precision plate processing, material design, and wire connection technology.
