SPS 2024: PROFINET International partner stand: Hall 5, Stand 210.
Moxa Europe GmbH will be presenting its latest industrial switches at SPS 2024 from 12 to 14 November 2024 in Nuremberg at the partner booth of the PROFIBUS User Organization (PROFIBUS & PROFINET International), which offer simple and secure solutions for modern industrial networks. Particular attention will be paid to OT cybersecurity requirements for critical infrastructures.
Smart switches for simple and secure network automation
Smart switches SDS-3000/G3000 Moxa’s SDS Series switches are developed for users who want to move from unmanaged to managed switches without sacrificing ease of use. Supporting common industrial protocols such as PROFINET, Modbus and EtherNet/IP, these switches enable easy integration into existing networks while providing advanced security features such as VLAN support and port control. The intuitive web-based graphical user interface makes configuration easy, so networks can not only be quickly installed, but also securely monitored and maintained. The new SDS Series models are compact and ideal for space-constrained applications such as control cabinets. They are equipped with 6, 10 and 12 ports and complement the existing 8 and 16 port models.
Enhanced network security for managed switches with MX-NOS firmware version 4.0
The Layer 2 managed switches of the EDS-4000/G4000 They feature industry-standard reliability, network redundancy, and safety features. For example, the series is certified to IEC 62443-4-2, Safety Level 2. Other industry certifications include NEMA TS2, EN 50121-4, IEC 61850-3/IEEE 1613 Class 1, DNV, and ATEX, Class I Division 2. The EDS-4000/G4000 series also features Turbo Ring and Turbo Chain functions, which enable fast network recovery and ensure trouble-free operation.
Since recently, the series EDS-4000/G4000 It also supports MX-NOS firmware version 4.0 which provides additional security features, diagnostic options, and enhanced functionality to future-proof industrial networks. MX-NOS is a firmware platform designed for Moxa’s next generation of Ethernet switches.
The platform is extensible to allow new features to be added throughout the device’s lifespan. MX-NOS also improves usability by ensuring that the switches offer consistent functionality and an intuitive user interface design. Thanks to the development lifecycle, the quality and security of MX-NOS firmware is compliant with IEC 62443.
