Mouser Electronics adds more than 110 new manufacturers in 2021, further expanding an already industry-leading portfolio

Mouser Electronics, the industry's leading New Product Introductory (NPI) distributor with the largest selection of semiconductors and electronic components, added 113 new manufacturers to its catalog in 2021, a record number, significantly expanding the number of products among available to design engineers and purchasing professionals around the world. By offering customers a broad selection of the latest technology, Mouser helps designers avoid costly redesigns and delays in manufacturing or even project completion.

Mouser works closely with its more than 1200 manufacturing partners to provide the fastest and easiest access to the latest components in the industry. In 2020 and 2021, as many companies grappled with supply chain challenges caused by the pandemic, semiconductor and electronic component manufacturers looked to Mouser to help them successfully introduce their products to the global marketplace.

Nearly a third of the new manufacturers added in 2021 are dedicated to embedded solutions, evidence of Mouser's continued attention to Internet of Things (IoT) and 5G solutions. In recent years, Mouser has strengthened its lines of embedded solutions and sensors to enhance its product offering for the IoT. In addition, Mouser's Global Distribution Center manages a massive inventory of more than 1,1 million unique component SKUs across all product categories, including embedded solutions, connectors, optoelectronics, passive components, and much more.

Among the new manufacturers Mouser has added are:

  • Fujitsu Semiconductor Memory Solution, a subsidiary of Fujitsu Semiconductor that provides high-quality, highly reliable Ferroelectric Random Access Memory (FRAM) and Resistive Random Access Memory (ReRAM).
  • Hartland Controls, a Littelfuse company that provides components for HVAC solutions and other industrial applications.
  • MultiTech, a leading global provider of IoT devices and services such as sensor, authentication and communications solutions.
  • Weidmüller, a leading manufacturer of IoT solutions and industrial connectivity.
