KIOXIA Europe GmbH has announced that its KIOXIA CM7 Enterprise PCIe 5.0 and NVMe 2.0 series SSDs, KIOXIA CD8P Data Center PCIe 5.0 and NVMe 2.0 series, and KIOXIA CD8 PCIe 4.0 and NVMe 1.4 2,5-inch series SSDs have successfully passed compatibility and interoperability tests with Microchip Technology Inc.'s Adaptec SmartRAID 4300 series RAID storage accelerator card.
The Adaptec SmartRAID 4300 accelerator card supports up to 32 NVMe SSDs, each connected directly to the CPU via its own dedicated channel. This design eliminates the PCIe bottleneck typically associated with a traditional single-host x16 interface, allowing each SSD to operate at peak performance. This innovative architecture delivers exceptional performance and IOPS, making it an ideal solution for data-intensive enterprise applications.
