Graphics-intensive Kontron motherboards based on AMD Ryzen™ Embedded R2000 processors

Based on the successful AMD Ryzen™ Embedded R3723 series, Kontron's new D2000-R mITX industrial motherboard ensures brilliant graphics performance and supports up to four independent displays in 4K resolution thanks to the integrated AMD Radeon™ Vega SOC GPU. Therefore, it is especially suitable for integrated graphics applications such as professional casino gaming systems, medical displays and industrial PCs, as well as kiosk, infotainment or digital signage systems.

Compared to AMD's V/R1000 APUs, it offers higher performance. Two fast SO-DIMM modules, DDR4-2666 or 3200 with a maximum of 32 GB, Dual Channel and ECC compatibility are used as memory. The D3723-R mITX. It also offers extensive interfaces, including Dual GbE, COM (RS232, RS422, RS485), USB 3.1 Gen2, M.2 (Key-M, Key-B), and much more. The motherboard was developed in Germany and will also be manufactured there in the coming months.

The SMARTCASE™ S711 chassis kit is also available to complement the motherboard. It is suitable to operate at temperatures ranging from -10°C to +45°C, depending on the cooling solution. The compact chassis is equipped with two front USB 3.1 connectors and can be used both horizontally and vertically. A large number of accessories are also available, such as matching cooling solutions.

Kontron will soon release a similar model in Mini-STX format, which is also based on the AMD Ryzen™ R2000 series of processors.
