AVNET brings together its European business units in "electronica 2022"

Taking advantage of its participation in the main event dedicated to electronics on the Old Continent, the company will pay special attention to electric vehicles and their charging systems at "AVNET City", located at Stand 101 of Pavilion C2.

AVNET EMEA announces the presence of its European business units in a consolidated exhibition space in “electronica 2022”, which is celebrated from November 15 to 18 in Munich (Germany).

electronics 2022 is the main event dedicated to electronics in Europe and shows the latest developments in a wide range of technologies, products and solutions for this industry. Many of AVNET's business units will pay special attention to electric vehicles (EVs) and the technologies required to be able to load them quickly and efficiently.

All AVNET EMEA business units, including AVNET Abacus, AVNET Embedded, AVNET Silica, EBV Elektronik and Farnell, will be together in its imposing “AVNET City” (“Avnet City"- Stand 101 of Pavilion C2). There will also be space for EBV Lounge in the restaurant C1/C2 first floor, just above AVNET City. In addition, the stand will have a central area for meetings with clients and visitors.

Avnet Silica will present numerous solutions for “Smart City” projects that are shaping the cities, buildings and homes of the future. He will show his capabilities in artificial intelligence (IA) and machine learning (ML) with advanced sensor and analog technologies, industrial communications, power and wireless communications, as well as specific solutions for IoT, security, embedded, software and eUICC which, in turn, can make cities smarter, more sustainable and safer.

EBV Electronics You will receive and meet your guests both at the stand and in the EBV Lounge. It will focus on EV charging solutions and present its vertical focus specialized to work and collaborate with clients.

Celebrating its fiftieth anniversary, Avnet Abacus will four demo zones for electronics w, IoT, EV and charging systems and robotics. EBV and Avnet Abacus will also launch a special magazine that, combining "The Quintessence" (TQ) of EBV and “Focus” from Avnet Abacus, is practically entirely dedicated to EV charging.

AVNET Embedded It will also focus on EVs: it will offer a demonstration charging station and will showcase its design and system integration capabilities, encompassing embedded computing and display technologies with interconnect, passive, and electromechanical components. This business unit will launch “SimpleSwitch”, a novel way to upgrade hardware without having to recode, along with new computing modules that support advanced processing from major manufacturers.
