Arrow Electronics and Qualcomm collaborate to accelerate the adoption of edge computing and AI

Arrow Electronics, Inc. and Qualcomm Technologies International, Ltd. have expanded their strategic collaboration. The establishment of Edge Labs, an Arrow Center of Excellence (CoE), will help customers accelerate device development edge connected smart phones based on Qualcomm Technologies solutions.

The development of solutions edge and AI is becoming more and more challenging for customers due to various factors such as lack of prior experience, limited access to chipsets edge and high-performance AI, the complexity of the supply chain, and the nascent ecosystem. Edge Labs aims to help innovators navigate these challenges while fostering the adoption of AI in the edge computing using Qualcomm Technologies solutions in safety, security, healthcare, robotics, cameras, displays, optical inspection and other IoT applications.

Edge Labs will employ a dedicated team of engineering and solution architects to develop application-specific solutions, including training application engineers and field sales specifically on Qualcomm Technologies products. It will also offer design services to enable lower risk and faster time-to-market for customers through eInfochips, an Arrow company.
